Jens Jeppesen

Jens started working in Patentgruppen in 2000, first as a trainee, while he was completing his studies in electrical engineering, and later on as a patent attorney. Jens obtained qualification as European Patent Attorney in 2008 and has several years of experience in European patent practice, including examination, oral proceedings, oppositions and appeals at the European Patent Office. Jens obtained the European Patent Litigation Certificate from ERA/Maastricht University in 2024 allowing him to act as Representative before the Unified Patent Court (UPC). Jens has excellent analytical and argumentative skills, and is meticulous in his approach to all types of tasks.

For many years, Jens has been in charge of Patentgruppen’s EP Desk team – a specialized team set up to handle all aspects of IPR projects for international companies in Europe. He has great experience in working with clients from e.g. USA and China. Furthermore, he has years of experience in handling IPR projects worldwide for Danish, German and other European clients. Jens is also in charge of Patentgruppen’s design team taking care of our client’s needs with respect to design protection.
