Rune Bæksager Nielsen
Rune joined Patentgruppen in 2020. He holds a Master’s and Ph.D. degree from Aarhus University in biomedical engineering specialized in the field of advanced medical imaging. Rune is well experienced in development of idea catalogues, prior art analysis, prosecution and drafting of patent applications.
Rune has broad knowledge within the field of artificial intelligence (AI), digital signal processing, fluid dynamics, medico equipment, health technology, biophysics and mechanics as well as Life Science. He handles IPR matters within a wide range of technologies, including computer technology. In his six years as a postdoctoral researcher in neuroscience, he used artificial intelligence to study biomarkers and the mechanisms of Alzheimer’s disease and diabetes, and his research has been published in internationally renowned magazines.
