Thanks to all who joined our seminar
Thank you to those who joined our AI seminar 19 November!
Although we were a smaller group this time, it allowed for a more interactive and tailored session and it was inspiring to hear your perspectives.
We greatly appreciate your engagement and the insightful discussions – these conversations are what make our seminars so valuable!
The key takeaways:
- Patenting of AI is underrated!
- AI in the context of a slow patent system vs rapid AI development
- Today’s patent filings are examined by tomorrows’s case law
- Inventions including AI can be patented! We dwelled into patent law and case law in EP, US and CN
- Realize whether the invention is inside the AI itself, or lies in the adaption of – AI in a specific use/product
- Know what should be sufficiently disclosed regarding AI model, training data, input/output data, performance
Mark your calendar!
On December 4 2025 we are hosting our next seminar:
“Does your patent make your investors happy – or does it protect your future business? Why not do both?” in our headquarters in Aarhus. The seminar will include a workshop on what a checkmark patent may be, the potential risks and benefits of a checkmark patent, what it can do to your business, and how you may both make your investors happy and utilize the patent system to a larger extend to also protect your future business. Furthermore, many great inventions are not patented simply because it was assumed early on that the invention couldn’t be patented – but this assumption often turns out to be false.
The seminar is free of charge. Register here: patent@patentgruppen.com.
The speakers are Jørgen Møller and Nicolaj Reuss Bjerre
